A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tim received his bachelor of science degree from The University of Memphis in 1987. He received his certification as an athletic trainer from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) in 1988.
During his time working as an athletic trainer, Tim treated athletes in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the Atlanta Falcons in the 1999 Super Bowl. In 2004, he received his master of medical science degree in physician assistant studies from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has been with Appalachian Orthopedics since 2004.
Tim and his wife, Cary, have one son, Brayden. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City.
