Johnson City native Dr. Tom Huddleston received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his medical degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, followed by a year of fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on joint replacement and revision joint replacement at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Huddleston then returned to Johnson City with his family and joined Appalachian Orthopedics.
Dr. Huddleston is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a clinical professor in the department of surgery at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine.
