Get Immediate Attention for Minor Injuries Without an Appointment

OrthoAccess Walk-In Clinic is the name of our same-day, walk-in clinic, currently available at both our Bristol Midway and Johnson City offices. At our clinic, you will be seen by a certified physician assistant who will be able to examine you, order X-rays, and treat you. Should a doctor be needed for your problem, one is always immediately available.

What We Treat

OrthoAccess Walk-In Clinic is intended for very recent injuries, sprains, or closed fractures. If you are bleeding from your injury, please proceed directly to a hospital emergency room.

What We Do Not Treat

OrthoAccess Walk-In Clinic is not the right place to be treated for long-term or chronic conditions, such as back pain, unless there has been a serious and very recent change to your condition. For treatment of long-term conditions, please make an appointment to see one of our physicians.

What to Expect

Because patients are seen in our OrthoAccess Walk-In Clinic without appointments, we are not always able to predict the wait before you see the physician assistant.

If you do not have insurance that covers your visit to the clinic, you will be asked for payment before being seen.

At Appalachian Orthopedics, we know that injuries occur when you least expect them. That’s why our doctors and physician assistants are proud to offer extended clinic hours at our main location to treat patients who are suffering from acute orthopedic injuries and conditions.

When you need us, we’re here.

Bristol Midway
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Johnson City

To schedule an appointment, please call one of our two OrthoAccess Walk-In Clinic locations: Bristol Midway or Johnson City. Walk-ins are also welcome.
