- “Surgery went very well. I could walk straight three hours after surgery. The nurse gave me an A+ on mobility. I could also reach down and touch my toes which I hadn’t been able to do in 50 years. ”– Clark H.Patient Rating:
- “Dr. Brashear has replaced both my right and left hips. Both experiences were just excellent. I followed the instructions for exercise before and after the surgery and walked as much as I could after both operations. I went home with a walker, which I used for four days. Then I used a cane for eight days, and then I was walking without any assistance. The pain from the hip was gone immediately! Recovery from the illness of the incision was achieved in just a couple of days. I used the pain meds for three days. The technique Dr. Brashear uses is fabulous! You're up and walking immediately following surgery. There's no rehab to go to, other than walking! Anytime, I hear anyone talking about a hip replacement I tell them about Dr. Brashear. My surgery was in March; I was driving the next week; I spread 30 bags of mulch in my flower beds in April. I'm just happy and thrilled to have my mobility back!
