Tommy is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a strong foundation in emergency and military medicine. His journey in healthcare began in high school, where he volunteered with the Bristol Life Saving Crew, became an EMT, and pursued paramedic certification. Driven by a deep sense of service, Tommy enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as an Airborne Combat Paramedic at Fort Bragg. He is a combat veteran of the Gulf War.

While stationed at Fort Bragg, Tommy began his formal nursing education, earning an Associate Degree in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College. After returning to the Tri-Cities area, he advanced his education by completing both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Master of Science in Nursing degree at King University. Further demonstrating his commitment to specialized care, he also completed the Advanced Rheumatology Course through the American College of Rheumatology.

He will tell you that his calling is to serve others through the knowledge, skills, and wisdom God has entrusted to him. Tommy is committed to listening attentively to his patients and treating each one with the same care and respect he would want for himself.

He lives in Bristol with his wife, Tracie. Together, they are both actively involved in international missions and serve on the Board of Directors for Manos de Dios Missions, along with supporting various local community organizations. In his free time, Tommy enjoys spending quality time with his family, attending church, and camping, and he is an avid audiobook enthusiast.
