Dr. Meredith Neal to Join Appalachian Orthopedics
Meredith Neal, M.D., an expertly trained joint replacement surgeon, is joining the team of specialists at Appalachian Orthopedics. Starting Sept. 2, Dr. Neal will be available to see patients at the practice’s Elizabethton office, located at 1500 W. Elk Ave., as well as at their Johnson City office, located at 3 Professional Park Drive, Suite 21. Using his advanced training, Dr. Neal specializes in evaluating, diagnosing and treating joint-related conditions. His expertise includes a broad range of advanced nonsurgical and surgical techniques, with a focus on:

- Minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures.

Dr. Neal received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque and completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He then elected to pursue an adult reconstruction fellowship with the esteemed Dr. Morrison and Dr. Dabezies at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida, where he focused on robotic joint replacement and revision joint replacement.
