As a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Vaughn specializes in evaluating, diagnosing and treating orthopedic injuries and conditions of the elbow, hand, shoulder and wrist. Her expertise includes a wide variety of advanced procedures and techniques, including minimally invasive shoulder repair.

After receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Dr. Vaughn completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Following her residency, Dr. Vaughn underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in hand surgery at Wake Forest School of Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
