Dr. Avery Thomson, who is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, began his education at New College of Florida, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in neurobiology. Dr. Thomson then completed a Master of Science degree in aging and neuroscience at the University of South Florida. He went on to finish his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Thomson further refined his skills during his foot and ankle surgery residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Penn Medicine's Level 1 Trauma Center.

As a specialty-trained podiatrist, Dr. Thomson provides expert care for deformities, traumatic injuries, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, wounds, diabetic complications, and nerve disorders of the foot and ankle. He tailors treatments to each patient’s unique needs, delivering comprehensive care that helps his patients get back to the activities they enjoy most.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Thomson enjoys running, climbing, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
