Joanna Roberts, P.A.-C., A.T.C.

A native East Tennessean, Joanna was born and raised in Greene County, graduating from Greeneville High School. Having experienced numerous personal orthopedic injuries, she was inspired to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in sports medicine at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. After 13 years as a certified athletic trainer at the College of Charleston and Sullivan Central High School, she decided to continue her education and earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Milligan University.

Joanna enjoys interacting with patients of all ages. Known for her humor and positive attitude, she excels at patient education and has a knack for explaining complex diagnoses and procedures in simple, easy-to-understand terms.

In her free time, Joanna volunteers with Healing Paws to provide pet therapy at Sullivan County Schools and East Tennessee State University with her certified therapy dog, Cooper. She also enjoys reading and any activity that takes her outdoors.
